In the second round of the 2021 playoffs, the first four games were tied 2-2. In the crucial fifth game of the playoffs, Kyrie Irving missed the game due to injury. James Harden returned but was in poor condition, except for Kevin Durant who played the entire game. In addition to scoring 49 points to support the entire team, the 35-year-old veteran Jeff Green made 8 of 11 shots from the field and 7 of 8 three-pointers. He scored 27 points off the bench, completely making up for the scoring firepower of Harden and Irving.

Green's performance in this game also set a new record for scoring by a substitute player in a single playoff game in the history of the Nets. In the tears of the SuperSonics era tonight, Green and KD jointly supported the Nets and led the team to reverse the Bucks.
