【賽門關鍵週報】0921-27:全力詹破神話、J.Murray大爆發的秘密

[Sneaker Recommendation] Series

The 2019-2020 NBA season was difficult, especially for the Los Angeles Lakers. Legendary star Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash. In mid-March, the game was suspended for nearly 4 months due to the new coronavirus epidemic. Later, the rules were adjusted to allow 22 teams to compete in the NBA. The league resumed play in the "bubble" quarantine park set up at Disneyland in Orlando. During this period, American society also experienced the largest wave of anti-discrimination demonstrations in recent years.

However, the Lakers united as one and wore the "Black Mamba" jersey that symbolizes Kobe's spirit. In Game 6, they relied on LeBron James' 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists in a single game. Anthony Davis also scored 19 points and 15 rebounds. The score reached 28 points in the first half, and the Heat eventually tied the series 4-2 and won the 17th championship in team history.

LeBron James also won the MVP of the fourth championship in his career. In the 6 games of the championship, he averaged 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.2 steals. His shooting percentage was as high as 58.6% and his three-point shooting percentage was 39.0%. Doubt won the overall FMVP with a unanimous vote. Let’s take a look at the crazy record James set in the 2019-20 playoffs:

  • Became the first player in history to win championships and MVPs with three different teams.
  • At 35 years and 286 days old, LBJ became the oldest player to score a junior year in the Finals.
  • The only player in NBA history to score at least 150 points, 50 rebounds and 50 assists in a single round of the Finals. This is the fourth time he has achieved this achievement.
  • LeBron James played in his 55th career championship game, tying Jerry West for fourth in history. (First to third are Bill Russell’s 70 games, Sam Jones’ 64 games, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 56 games respectively)
  • In the first game against the Trail Blazers in the first round, LeBron James scored 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 16 assists in a single game, becoming the first player in history to achieve this in the playoffs.
  • A record of 260 career playoff games, surpassing Derek Fisher to lead the league alone.
  • A triple in his 11th career championship game, first in history. A total of 28 playoff games, second only to Magic Johnson's 30 games.
  • 25 points and 10 rebounds in 25 playoff games in his career, first in history.
  • The total career playoff points once again reached 500 points, becoming the sixth time in LeBron's career that he has achieved 500 points, 150 rebounds, and 150 assists in the playoffs, tied for first place with Larry Bird.
  • The 35-year-old LBJ is the second-oldest championship MVP in league history. Jabbar was 38 when he helped the Lakers win the championship 35 years ago. (LBJ is also the oldest player in the history of the regular season to win the assist title for the first time)
  • For the ninth time in his career, he scored more than 500 points in a single playoff game, surpassing Michael Jordan's eight times and ranking first in history.
  • In the fifth game of the championship game, LBJ made 15 of 21 shots in a single game, 6 of 9 three-pointers, and scored 40 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists. He also became the oldest player in the history of the playoffs to score more than 40 points in a single game. (The previous one was Michael Jordan in 1998)
  • Anthony Davis accumulated 582 points in the playoffs this season, ranking the most in the league. LeBron James ranked second with 580 points. This is a tribute to the "OK combination" Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant in 2002, and once again had a single-season playoff total. A feat where the top two scorers are both on the same team.
  • The 17th championship in the history of the Lakers, tying the Celtics for the most in history.

A die-hard fan of Damian Lillard. He became a fan of the Trail Blazers because of Lillard. I don’t understand the analysis but I understand the story.
