He scored a career-high 53 points and still lost.Bradley Beal一臉絕望但日子還是要過。巫師今天回到主場進行 Back-to-Back 賽事，遇到的更是史上最速晉級季後賽的公鹿！可能就連巫師都沒想到自己最後竟能和聯盟最強之師殺得難分難捨，關鍵就在於除了再創巔峰的 Beal 之外，替補總算有人跳了出來，而這人就是季中因交易從灰狼轉來的新同學 Shabazz Napier。進入生涯第六季，Napier 總算在明尼蘇達爭取到更多發揮空間，穩居固定輪值控衛之外，更因 Jeff Teague 的傷勢和交易而暫代先發好一陣子，各項數據也衝破生涯新高（場均得分 9.5、助攻 5.0），穩健的助攻失誤比也讓他就算又因交易來到巫師，也不乏沒有機會上場。該場比賽巫師上半場不意外地以 10 分落後，第三節兩隊共得 73 分互轟，巫師勉強維持比分，但仍有 13 分的落後；沒想到第四節風雲變色，Napier 開局就和字母哥、Middleton 互別苗頭，不僅助攻隊友得手，最後 9 分多鐘的四分打更宣告巫師重回比賽，接著 Beal 重回賽場，手感火熱的他開啟了接管模式，在 7 分鐘之內暴轟 26 分，一口氣將比賽壓進延長加時！延長賽 Beal 繼續他的（悲劇）英雄之旅，一記三分彈一度將巫師帶向領先，而這顆三分火炮就是由 Napier 助攻；無奈最終對手全明星 Khris Middleton 也同樣火燙，罰球、中距離、三分球輪番展示，40 分、籃板、助攻各 5 與之抗衡，加上 Beal 筋疲力盡（全場發生 9 次失誤），最後首府大軍仍然不敵高速公鹿，但至少，總算有隊友奧援的 Beal，這一場會輸得比較甘願一點吧…嗎？ .
